A fortnight in Sicily

I'll let the photos speak for themselves. The food was good, although in only a few cases significantly better than good Italian food I've eaten in the UK.

all looks fantastic - lots of antipasti, was the fish any good? and what was that thing with the straw - an ice cream sundae or a milkshake?

An ice cream sundae

The fish was good - the prawns were very fresh. But the meat was surprisingly good - steak definitely makes it into top 5 steaks, which is hard to do.

yum - what was in the brown paper bag?
and was the food expensive?

The biscuits in the bottom picture were packed up and tied with a bow as shown in the photo above.

The food wasn't that cheap - a 2 course meal for 2 with a half carafe of house wine was about 45 euros. The prices didn't actually vary that much, although the quality did.
