Chisou

Chisou restaurant in London, for an evening of Sushi and Sake.

Started with a plate of superfresh sashimi. The tuna and salmon were as tasty as ever, but the suprise standout was the butterfish - front left

Followed by a large serving of vegetable tempura, with steamed rice

Plenty of sake to accompany the food

Finished with chilled plum wine, with a plum in

what does plum wine taste like. also cost wise was it a good restaurant?

Plum wine tastes like alcoholic prune juice! Not unpleasant, but not bad.

Food was expensive, but then Japanese food tends to be. Top tier restaurant prices and quality. I mind paying lots for this sort of food less than elsewhere, as it's not something I could make at home.
