Dinner out in town

A good dinner at Andrew Edmunds. Started with a simple yet very fresh dressed crab, with some nice Chablis

Followed with an excellent NZ Pinot Noir - one of the nice things about the restaurant is that the markup on the wine seems remarkably low

With a main course of duck on a warm salad or pea shoots and roasted new potatoes. The duck was good, but the salad was poor - potatoes were a bit burnt, and too many peashoots for my liking

Dessert was strong - sticky toffee pussing with a glass of muscat
