Friday night dinner

An exciting dinner. Duck breast in a pomegranate molassses, redcurrent jelly, wine and orange sauce. Served with green beans and goose-fat fried potatoes.

I'd have to say that looks like a fantastic meal! Was the sauce a new concoction and did it work?

Was a brand new invention of mine, and it worked really well - I'd do it again with duck, or even lamb.

I'd planned to make a thin jus with just the pan juices, but the marinade was a bit burnt, so that wouldn't have worked.
