Early Christmas

A giant goose from the butcher's for a pre-Christmas feast with friends

It did fit in the oven (just) and has left me with at least a litre of goose fat for future roast potatoes

Served with sausages in bacon, gravy, roast potatoes, sprouts with pancetta and chestnuts, bread sauce, and braised celery
