Did you burn your bacon- or do you like it like that?
I like my bacon quite crispy. Ideally I'd have grilled it - I think it's tastier that way, as well as more healthy. But grillpans are a hassle to clean, so fried the bacon this time, and it did end up a little overbrown.
I like my bacon a bit less brown I think... but all in favour of grilling bacon. I find a bit of foil in the bottom of the grillpan makes a world of difference.
Good plan, Rhian - that certainly would have 'foiled' the greasy washing up issue!
