Semi-traditional sunday lunch

A decidedly non-traditional oriental steamed salmon with stir fried courgettes and steamed rice to start


With a much more normal gooseberry crumble to follow

i don't think i ahve ever had gooseberry crumble - is it good? and do you cook fruit before you crumble it , i don't but some do.

lightly cooked them first, with a tablespoon of water and a shake or two of sugar.

Definitely try it - it's great. Sharpness of the fruit works well with the sweet, crunchy crumble topping.
