What is the difference between flatbread and pitta bread?

Pitta is just a kind of flatbread, which is a generic term covering lots of types of (mostly) unleavened bread - examples would be Pitta, Focaccia, Naan and Tortilla.

They're all much the same in ingredients - this was thicker and softer than pitta bread I've had before
