Tarragon butter for steak

Just-picked French tarragon

With unsalted butter, finely chopped shallot, ground pepper, lemon juice

All mashed up

And melted on top of sirloin steak. Courgettes and mashed potato in the background. Posted by Picasa

It was great.

Good Waitrose steak, and the herb butter was really good - a new recipe which worked surprisingly well.
