Catering weekend

Away for a few days, catering for a church weekend away. Cooking for 45 people, mostly 11-14 years old meant that it tended to be quantity rather than quality. And lots of washing up.

Still, roast turkey and roast potatoes for all.

Snacks out in the sun - lots of fruit and veg provided, lots of cake eaten.

Value lasagnas for Sunday lunch. Easy, but I did feel maybe I should have cooked something. Posted by Picasa

tasted great- especially the bread sauce in the roast dinner. The best thing was that there was plenty of food!

Missed out on the cranberry sauce, but a good idea for the future! Also forgot the yorkshire puddings until we'd sat down to eat, but they only took about 5 minutes to heat up.

I seem the remember that last time you served that menu the yorkshire puddings were forgotten. Still, why mess with tradition
