Unoriginal dinner

Borough market again this morning, so two sirloins from The Ginger Pig

With lambs lettuce and goose-fat-fried potatoes.

Potatoes were Red Duke of York heritage potatoes, also from Borough market, and were ridiculously expensive, but ridiculously nice. Best potatoes I've had for a long time. Posted by Picasa

I see you have some mustard on the table. Any preference or thoughts on English versus French versus wholegrain? And what about my favorite, horseradish sauce, with steak, or best left to roast beef?

I'm a fan of English mustard with steak. horseradish ok for roast beef, but not steak for me.

That's also bearnaise sauce on the table - excellent with steak. Although home made is better. Think this one was Harrods, but it had been in the cupboard for quite a long time!
