Chicken curry for tea

Cooking - mustard seeds, onion, ginger, chilli, tomatoes, turmeric, chilli powder, fenugreek, curry leaves

Poppadums, mango chutney, onions, lime pickle

Curry finished with coconut milk, coriander seeds and chicken. Basmati rice with cardamom pods. Posted by Picasa

They came in a pack of 10, and weren't going to keep once I'd opened the packet, and they were so much fun to fry I just kept on going.

We probably had 3 between the 2 of us

fenugreek and cardumen pods? More explanation needed please!

They're spices, available from any supermarket.

Don't use fenugreek much, but cardamom pods are great - little green things about the size of a large raisin. Very nice in rice - nice and fragrant.
