Just out of interest...how much do you spend on your food a week?
Isn't sea bass on a monday night rather extravgant?

I probably spend 40 - 50 pounds a week on food, excluding eating out.

If I was to eat Sea Bass every night Im not sure that would be sustainable, but given some nights Ill just eat cheese on toast it all evens out in the end. I make sandwiches for lunch every day, which is also much cheaper then buying lunch at work.

I will try putting some sandwiches up - but it's normally quite tricky to photograph them well!

Favourite fillings to make for work include:

- Cheese & Branston Pickle
- Ham, lettuce, tomato (lots of mustard)
- Chorizo, cheese and herb salad
- Tuna Mayo
- Houmous and roasted peppers in pitta

I was walking down Brighton beach the other morning, minding my own business when an old hag jumped out from behind a sandcastle. She ran over to give me a kiss, but I sidestepped her. "Whats the problem?" she said, don't you like me? "It's not that", I said, "I just don't like sand witches in the morning"

Favourite fillings would have to be 'cheese and pickle', and 'chorizo, cream cheese and rocket' Although I also feel a sandwich is hugely improved by the introduction of crisps of some variety. Preferably Salt and Vinegar.

Hi Rhian,

what type of goats cheese do you favour in your sandwiches, I'm thinking the creamy sort for me, is there a particular brand that's good?

yes, salt and vinegar crisps and marmite sandwich is very good... especially if the crips are crinkle cut.

Thomas, I'm always a fan of slightly creamier goats cheese (although you can buy a very good firm cheese on one of the stalls in St Albans market). I find that most large supermarkets will do a very good goats cheese that will fill about three sandwiches.

I'd disagree - for me a standard supermarket goats' cheese will only fill two sandwiches
