Taking the two hours necessary for the amazing River Cafe slow cooked sausage penne. Italian fennel sausages with red onions, garlic, chilli, bay, nutmeg, tomatoes and Chianti

Served with penne, parmesan and double cream

sounds nice, but expensive. Where did you get your italian fennel sausages from?

It's more expensive than some pasta sauces, but quite reasonable compared to other meat dishes.

There's a great Italian Deli in St Albans called Buongiorno Italia where I get them.
