My favourite restaurant

Dinner at L'envers du decor, my favourite restaurant in the world. The combination of food, wine and setting is hard to beat. Started with a stunning tomato salad with local cheese, peppers, pesto and fennel

Followed by a steak and onions, served very rare, with a nice Pomerol on the side

Finished with a sweet red
And a pannacotta with fresh strawberries

mmmm yummy - how much is l'envers du decor these days, what with the unfavourable exchange rate? And do they still have omelettes and duck tournadoes on the menu?

3 course dinner for 2 with 5 glasses of wine by the glass and coffee was about 100euros. So with current exchange rates no longer the bargain it once was, but still great compared to London prices for the equivilent.
