Followed by a pumpkin, cauliflower, chickpea and spinach rogan josh with chapattis

Saturday supper

The case has been blind baked, and then the orange, cream and sugar filling is added, followed byt the egg whites

A success - I'd do the pastry a bit thicker in future, but it all tastes great!

Sunday lunch

Fish supper

Pan fried sea bream in a chilli, garlic and ginger sauce, served with steamed pak choi and basmati

Slow cooked stew

A brisket of beef cooked overnight in a low oven

With barley, beans and gherkins - a traditional Jewish cholent
